On December 28, 2025, the third session of the second membership conference of the Liyang Forging Industry Association was successfully held. Chen Weixing, Party Secretary of the Liyang Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Secretary-General Zhou Haikun. He first formally introduced the new member organizations. Representatives from the new members shared their companies’ positioning and development visions, expressed their anticipation of working hand in hand with their peers, and injected fresh momentum into the association. Jiang Xiaohua, Secretary of the association’s Party organization and Chairman of the Supervisory Board, delivered the financial report for 2025. The report adhered to the principles of openness, transparency, and compliance, comprehensively demonstrating the reasonable allocation of the association’s funds toward Party-building activities, policy promotion, member services, and exchange and training initiatives.

Chairman Xu Wenbo delivered the annual work report, briefly reviewing the key achievements of 2025: strengthening the foundation through Party building leadership, optimizing the environment via policy promotion, building platforms for publicity and services, and fostering improvement through internal and external collaboration. The report also acknowledged shortcomings in areas such as policy interpretation, resource integration, and service precision, and clearly outlined four key priorities for 2026: reinforcing Party building, deepening the rule of law to protect enterprises, expanding exchanges, and providing targeted services.

During the member exchange session, participants enthusiastically discussed industry development: Liyang Forging enjoys a prominent position nationwide. All members must reach a consensus—we must firmly uphold unity, adhere to orderly competition, eliminate malicious competition, promote positive industry development, and jointly safeguard Liyang Forging’s excellent reputation.

Chen Weixing, Party Secretary of the Lianyang City Federation of Industry and Commerce, fully affirmed the forging industry’s contributions to promoting high-quality development of the county-level economy, and put forward three hopes: First, continue to uphold Party building as the guiding principle and solidify the ideological foundation; second, always be oriented toward the needs of members, enhance the quality and effectiveness of services, and guide enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities and highlight their corporate value; third, closely focus on high-quality development and demonstrate greater achievements in the construction of “Quality Lianyang.”
